Dr. Erin Caust
Hi there, I’m Dr Erin Caust and I’m here to help you and your intimate life thrive!
43% of Men and 49% of Women report having at least one sexual difficulty within the past year. Expanding that figure over a life time, it can be guaranteed that at one time or another, we’ve all experienced some complications when it comes to sex, intimacy and relationships
Despite how common these issues can be, it is still challenging to find the right help. This is where I come in!
I use a unique combination of physiotherapy and sexual psychotherapy to help address your sexual issues

Common challenges I help with
Challenges with Presence
If our bodies don’t feel safe in intimacy we can experience disassociation. This can be subtle (being in our heads and feeling distracted or not present) or strong (not being in control of our responses or decisions).
Challenges with Pain
Can present as conditions including vaginismus, vestibulitis and dyspareunia as well as hypersensitivity or anything less then pleasurable sensations during sex.
Challenges with Libido and Arousal
Libido naturally ebbs and flows based on a number of factors. Whether this becomes an issue, is self defined.
If your arousal levels are a concern to you and your intimate life, we can explore the underlying blockages that may be related.
Challenges with Performance
Can present as concerns with erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation. This can also present as being “performance orientated” in the bedroom which can detract from being present and connected with your engaged partner.
Why work with me?
My unique skill set combines the medical and mental health models. My approach combines mind and body integration for holistic healing. I believe that treating health concerns starts with a patient centred approach. Everyone presents with their own unique set of lifestyles, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, sexualities and relationships structures; all of which need to be taken into consideration when treating an individual, not a condition.
My qualifications include
Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science
Doctor of Physiotherapy
PGOP - Female Urinary Dysfunction
PST - Psychosexual Somatic Therapy
